Jeff founded Providence Marketing Group in 2006. A lifelong sportsman, Jeff’s passion for the outdoors has guided his professional life throughout his career. Prior to founding Providence, Jeff spent 13 years with Gander Mountain in numerous roles, including operations, merchandising, inventory management and Vice President of Marketing. He also served as a Senior Partner with the Minneapolis marketing firm Wingnut.
As all sportsmen know, hunting and fishing is as much a spiritual pursuit as it is a hobby. The name Providence speaks to Jeff’s spiritual beliefs as a sportsman and a man of faith, and he truly believes God’s hand has been involved in all his endeavors, personally and professionally. From this foundation, he carries the tenets of people of faith. Treat people with respect, honesty and fairness, always find the good in people, and always give more than you take.
Under Jeff’s guidance, Providence is more than just an advertising agency, promotions house, or research firm. Providence offers proven marketing solutions, working on your behalf to efficiently and effectively drive your business. Providence brings years of experience in product development, traditional and digital marketing, television production, merchandising, retail management, financial analysis and, most importantly, the great outdoors, all to help propel your brand.

Glenn has been with Providence Marketing Group since July 2009 and oversees all operations, print media and is involved heavily with the management and activation of brands promotional staff’s. A strong background in marketing and customer service, coupled with Glenn’s ten years of experience in the fishing industry has positioned him as an integral part of Providence Marketing Group and delivering timely results for their clients.
His attention to detail, organization skills and ability to stay on top of multiple projects enables Providence to offer nimble, efficient, and industry leading service and response time for all of our clients.
The passion and drive that Glenn has for his fishing, translates directly over to his work – making sure that every detail and item is handled in a timely manner.
On the rare occasion Glenn isn’t in the office or taking care of his two young children, he can be found on the water as a tournament bass angler, or writing articles on the sport for a number of leading outdoor publications.
Zach is a Creative Specialist at Providence Marketing Group. As such, he handles most of the creative that comes out of PMG. He specializes in photography, videography and a wide variety of graphics including ad design, point of sale, digital marketing creative, catalog design and packaging. If you need something to “POP” he’s going to make it happen.
With experience across many disciplines, Zach has been responsible for full rebrands for a multitude of Providence Marketing Group clients including , Wenzel’s Farm, Witch Doctor Tackle, Nick’s Sticks, and BuckStik.
Much of the outdoor creative content he generates comes from his home in a small town in Minnesota.
When he isn’t behind the computer or camera for PMG, he is likely out chasing his two daughters across the backyard (#GirlDad). He can also be seen going in virtual circles and designing wraps for iRacing. Zach’s passion for the outdoors and chasing giant whitetails is, as his wife would say, OBSESSIVE. This obsessive passion also is evident in the quality of work he produces on behalf of our clients.
Marketing & Social Media Manager
Jack joined the Providence team in 2013 after graduating from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN where he received a degree in Marketing Management and Business Administration. A true renaissance man, Jack has been an avid outdoorsman all his life. From Fly fishing to throwing giant musky plugs, or upland hunting to bowhunting, there is very little he hasn’t done, and hasn’t done well. His experience in the hunting and fishing industry, combined with his marketing and social media expertise creates the perfect fit for Providence Marketing Group.
Much like his outdoor acumen, Jack’s marketing skills are equally as diverse. Clients can expect to see Jack involved in a wide range of projects – from Social Media management, content curation, and digital advertising to writer relations, PR and account management, Jack works with brands in numerous areas of the marketing landscape.
Jack lives with his wife and young bird dog back in his hometown of Elk River, MN. As much as he loves fishing and hunting himself, Jack gets a great deal of enjoyment out of introducing others to the outdoors. If marketing hadn’t come calling, you may have found Jack guiding clients to great fishing memories.
Digital Marketing Specialist
Tyler joined the Providence Marketing Group team in 2018. Graduating from Winona State University with a degree in Mass Communications and a Marketing minor Tyler is responsible for managing the digital advertising for Providence clients. With multiple certifications in Google Ads, Facebook, Microsoft and more Tyler has extensive experience building efficient and effective marketing campaigns with impressive results.
In addition to digital advertising, Tyler develops content for a number of clients. Whether it’s social media, digital advertisement, photography, writing, or design he has proven to be capable of filling any role that the team needs him to.
If he’s not hard at work for one of our clients you’ll find Tyler on the water, where his focus, drive, and adaptability are honed. A fun fact about him, he’s no one trick pony while fishing either. Tyler has caught 52 different species of fish a number that continues to grow as he actively targets new challenges to check off his list.
